    I IntroductionNow CMBC has two types of POS services including POS consumption and POS transfer. The POS consumption service is used for consumption purpose at the businesses and the POS transfer service is used for payment collection. Now CMBC’s POS connection method has telephone wire and special cable connections. II Main FunctionsThe main functions include balance checking, consumption, consumption cancellation, return of goods, pre-authorization, pre-authorization cancellation, pre-authorization confirmation and etc. III POS Return of Goods: Two Cases1. Pre-settlement handling method: Before daily settlement at the POS terminal, when the customer has demanded return of goods, “transaction cancellation” can be effected on the POS according to the shopping statement of the customer.2. Post--settlement handling method: After the daily settlement at the POS terminal, when the customer has demanded return of goods, a “return of goods statement” must be filled in for manual cancellation of the transaction.As for CMBC POS (local bank, non-local bank, CMBC and Non-CMBC banks), the account is settled on the day of return of goods. The refund must be sent back to the previous bank account.
